Welcome To My Blog!

I am a wife, a mother, and a photographer. For as long as I can remember, I was the one that chased after everyone with a camera. I just love the way a photograph can capture a moment, and the feeling you get when you see that photograph, years later. The way that moment comes rushing back. I have been blessed to capture those moments. Thank you for letting me share them with you.

Baby Nicolas was only 4 days old when he came for pictures. He slept the entire time and did not fuss once…if only they could all be like him…

Adorable Baby Boy…

Posted on January 21, 2012

Last weekend I spent a couple days in Savannah, GA with a wonderful group of photographers. We had the opportunity to photograph newborns, seniors, a family, an engaged couple, and participated in a boudoir shoot. I cannot wait to see those fabulous girls again next year!

Here are the pictures of the adorable 5 day old baby I took pictures of…

Christmas Morning!

Posted on December 28, 2011

Christmas morning was very exciting at the Tracy household! Ellie was the last to wake up, of course. Sometimes I think that maybe Dennis and I may be more excited… Every year I kick myself for not taking enough Christmas morning pictures. And this year is no exception. I just so caught up in the moment that I forget my camera, so this is all I have for presents. Oops! What did Santa bring Ellie? An American Girl Bitty Baby which Ellie named Maria, two Merlia Barbies and Lego (those of you that have seen our dinning room table understand why Lego. That is a whole other post!) The big Christmas present “hit” came from Uncle Benji. A treasure chest full of princess costumes. Needless to say, Ellie wore different costumes through out the day and never even touched her Christmas dress…maybe she’ll fit into it next year.

Cookies for Santa…

Posted on December 27, 2011

Every year on Christmas Eve, Ellie helps bake Santa cookies and is allowed to hold Bosco (her elf) and say goodbye, since he leaves when Santa comes. Every year Ellie will hold him, hug him and whisper to him that she can’t wait to see him next year…this year was no exception. After Ellie goes to bed, Bosco hangs out on the cookie plate until his ride gets here…

Getting Ready To Feed The Reindeer…

Posted on December 25, 2011

This year we added a new activity to our Christmas Eve Festivities…we spread food around our yard for the reindeer. Mrs. Sturkie handed out Reindeer food at Ellie’s school Christmas party this year. Ellie quickly dumped it out in one spot and then decided to pick it up and spread it around. The next morning the food was GONE! (anyone know what oatmeal does to your grass?)

Playdate

Posted on December 22, 2011

Ellie had a playdate with her very best friend today. Her friend came over in her beautiful princess dress, so Ellie had to wear her princess dress as well. And what do you do when you have two princesses in the house…a photo shoot! Since they both dance together at SCDC, they also pretended to be ballet dancing princesses. We all had fun!
